Transcript:

hello I’m Scoutmaster Dave and today we’re going to setup the lynx 110 this one person tent is great for Scout masters to have their own space it’s an easy backpacking style type of tent it’s light weight and it goes up very easy as you’ll see it’s easy to pack and it’s easy to take down which at the end of the weekend is very important so the first thing we’re going to do is unwrap it and take out the ground cloth there are some debates on ground cloths but I like to have my ground cloth underneath it keeps the bottom of the tent clean it also keeps larger rocks and sticks from punching the bottom of the tent so I’m going to take my custom-made ground cloth and open it up

I take off the wraps and put aside the cover for a few minutes as you can see the footprint of the tent is very small and is not very wide at all these poles fold out very easy they are very thin poles very lightweight it forms like an X pattern here what we’re going to do is to stick it in the holes on the side now with the two ends secured you can put some tension on the poles and bend them into place without needing a second person to help and then it’s a simple matter to attach the clips starting with the largest one in the middle and then along the rest of the poles

now we Center the tent on the ground cloth

then take the top shell and line up the vents on the left and on the right with the door in the front then clip on the flight Clips right on to the tent body followed by staking down all four corners and then sticking one of the stakes into one of the loops to secure the vestibule area so if I roll this up here we can take a look inside now the inside isn’t very big but it’s big enough for one person with a pack in the vestibule or a small pack at one of the ends now we’ll do a tour around the outside

and a fast motion version of how easy it is to take down the tap with just a single person take what you like leave the rest as we same with bad feedback as a gift leave yours below in the comments with all the hope we can learn together I’m Scoutmaster Dave and this was the Lynx one one-man tap
